Stratos started with one frustrating standup: engineering and finance
staring at three different numbers for the same cloud bill. We set out to
give both teams a single source of truth.
OUR STORY
From a billing spreadsheet to
a platform.
Our founders spent years on platform and finance teams at fast-scaling companies. They watched cloud bills balloon past plan quarter after quarter — not from waste anyone could point to, but from a fog of untagged resources, idle capacity, and shared costs nobody could untangle.
The tools available either handled one cloud well and the rest poorly, or showed pretty dashboards with no path to action. So in 2023, we started building Stratos: multi-cloud from day one, engineering-aware by design, and obsessed with surfacing the next dollar of savings rather than another chart.
Today, teams running hundreds of services across AWS, GCP, and Azure use Stratos to reconcile spend to the invoice, attribute it to the team that owns it, and forecast the next quarter with confidence.
